How to host a food drive
Hosting a food drive with your congregation, school, community group, neighborhood, or workplace is easy to do and makes a big impact for The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County. Your generosity contributes to a vibrant and healthy community, and makes a difference in the life of a neighbor, classmate, co-worker, or even a friend.
To get started:
- Simply fill out a Food Drive Registration Form or contact our Food Resource Manager at 262-522-2374 to help coordinate your food drive.
- Contact the Food Resource Manager to get a current list of most needed items - Our Big 8 to Donate List.
- Promote your food drive through your group's network and social media. Share your Food Drive pictures and Stories with The FOOD Pantry's Facebook Page or with our Food Resource Manager.
- Once your food drive is complete, Schedule a time to drop off your donation during the hours listed below. Give us a Call at 262-522-2374 or email our food Resource Manager.
Donation hours:
Donations can be brought directly to The FOOD Pantry warehouse. Drop off entrance is at door #5.
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Additional evening hours: Monday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
All donations are diligently hand-sorted and thoroughly screened to ensure the food we serve is of the highest quality. The FOOD Pantry does not accept expired food. The FOOD Pantry does not distribute food received in compromised packages (dented cans, crushed boxes, damaged lids, etc.)
