Sorting & Stocking Food

General Warehouse

Volunteers assisting in the warehouse would have the most diverse tasks including: cleaning, sweeping under shelves and pallet racks, taking in donations, wiping down food carts, and may include substitute driving when regular drivers are unable to come in. This position requires a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, knowledge of the Waukesha area, and ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Shifts

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM


Food Sorter

Volunteers sort and check dates on donated food items and prepare them for distribution. You must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds of food. This position involves standing for up to 2 hours.

Food Recovery

Volunteers needed to take in donations, weigh, and sort them. Some food requires preparation before being able to distribute.

Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM


Pantry Stocker

Volunteers restock the shelves each morning before the FOOD Pantry opens for service.
