Host a Food Drive

Food drives sustain our inventory and help us plan for the future.

One of the Food Pantry of Waukesha County’s best resources is the volunteer-run food drive. While we encourage individual giving, food drives ignite exponential growth through collective effort.

Take up a food drive at your local school, community group, church, neighborhood or workplace and help the startling number of Waukesha County residents in need of assistance year-round. Who knows whom your generosity will benefit − a neighbor, classmate, co-worker or even a friend.

The Food Pantry does not accept or distribute food received in compromised packages (dented cans, crushed boxes, damaged bottles or lids, etc.) or expired food. All donations are diligently hand-sorted and thoroughly screened to ensure the food we serve is of the highest quality.

Call Charlotte Borchert at 262-522-2374 or email her on our Contact Us page for more information or assistance on how to coordinate your own food drive.

Please be aware that we have extremely limited volunteers and funds to help with transportation of collected items. We humbly ask you, the generous donor, to make an extra step of driving the collected food and goods to the FOOD Pantry at 1301 Sentry Drive in Waukesha. Visit our Contact Us page for our location and delivery hours.

We are extremely appreciative of everyone who makes this extra effort, and special accommodations can be made for large donations (in excess of several thousand pounds).
