Federal Nutrition Programs

Although The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County is not a government agency, The FOOD Pantry facilitates the distribution of commodity foods through federal nutrition programs. The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County is an equal opportunity provider.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

Additional shelf stable foods are provided to income-eligible clients of The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County through the United States Department of Agriculture's TEFAP program.

Commodity Supplemental Food Program (Stockbox)

In partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture and Hunger Task Force, The FOOD Pantry distributes pre-packed boxes of shelf stable foods to registered, income-eligible seniors (60 years and older) once a month through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, also known as the Stockbox.
