CSFP Box DoorDash

In partnership with United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County and DoorDash, The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County is excited to offer a senior food delivery program called CSFP Box DoorDash. The program provides income-eligible seniors with an opportunity to receive free home delivery of a CSFP Box monthly.

The CSFP Box includes cereal, milk, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta or rice, protein, fruit juice, canned meat and a block of Wisconsin government cheese.

CSFP Box DoorDash is a pilot program. The FOOD Pantry is testing the viability of a home-delivery option for the CSFP Box to ensure all eligible seniors have access to healthy, shelf-stable foods they need. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many seniors no longer feel safe or do not have access to pick-up locations or senior dining sites they previously relied upon. CSFP Box DoorDash aims to connect vulnerable seniors with additional food each month.

To qualify for CSFP Box DoorDash, seniors must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Be age 60 or older
  2. Be low income with a monthly income of <$1,995 for an individual ($2,705 for a two-person household)
  3. Live Within 10 miles of The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County.

Eligible seniors should call 262-522-2376 for your first CSFP Box DoorDash delivery. Deliveries are being scheduled approximately one week out. Once you receive your first delivery, subsequent deliveries will most likely be scheduled the same day of the week/week of the month the following month.
